EASTER TRADITIONS!
Do you have one? Is there a certain food you eat? Places to go? Books to read? Please share in the comments as I would love to hear what others do.
Easter in America is coming soon (I also celebrate Greek Easter in honor of my Greek heritage).
Maybe you are currently scrambling on what to fill the eggs and baskets with? Or you are trying to find matching church clothes for your kids? (I got some cute ones from Zulily!) Perhaps you are planning to travel to visit family? Are you getting a bunny?? Maybe you are searching for something simple and fun yet IMPACTFUL to teach your children about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ? If that last one is true....I just may have something for you!
Many years ago when my 10 year old was really young, my awesome grandparents bought us a cute Easter story set called "Resurrection Eggs". It includes 12 eggs with 12 figurines inside them. Each of the figurines goes along with the story book as it unfolds Jesus's journey to the cross. It is one of my favorite things I look forward to every year together as a family! I put it into my calendar to remind myself to start the story 12 days prior and then each child takes turn opening an egg. This would be great to include in your homeschool morning time with your kiddos!
It's SIMPLE yet IMPACTFUL and BEAUTIFUL.
I have shared about this tradition of ours before but I always share too late so other's don't get a chance to buy it themselves soooooo You're Welcome! It's early enough you can get one yourself and start a Family Easter Tradition! I included an Amazon link on the photo for you below to make it easy. ENJOY!
Everyone dies but not everyone Lives
2 Corinthians 5:15
"and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf."
He Is Risen!!
